The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sandra Lucas can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Barbara Cowdin

To Sandy's family: I worked with Sandy in several capacities at Southwestern Bell. We retired together and even shared our retirement party. Sandy was a favorite of everyone. I know I sure looked forward to seeing her beautiful face each morning. She would arrive at work early and convince someone to make a run to McDonald's. She would request a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and then add grape jelly. I had never seen anyone add jelly to their bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I tried it, and liked it. I still eat jelly on my bacon, egg, and cheese. Sandy always radiated her love for Christ, her love for her family, her church, and friends. I had lunch with her a couple of years ago and I could see life was a struggle. I'm so sorry she had to suffer so much. A special hello to the girls. You had a wonderful mother. I want you to know I loved and respected your mother. I called her Lucabill. She always knew it was me when I called and asked for Lucabill. My sincere sympathy.
