Obituary for Dorla Rachelle "Tammy" Floyd

Dorla Rachelle Floyd, 57, was born to the late Kenneth Walter Floyd and Shirley Jean (Johnson) Floyd on February 19, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri.

She graduated from Paseo High Shool and later from Dickinson's Business School.
Dorla was employed at Maximus (GDIT) located in Lawrence, KS.

Dorla spent most of her life in Kansas City, Missouri and recently resided in Lawrence. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals baseball team and the Kansas City Chiefs. She enjoyed spending time with her children, granddaughters, family and friends.

Dorla departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 19, 2019.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; two brothers Lonnie Craig Floyd and Lyle Dane Floyd.

She is survived by her two daughters, Martia Dyworth Floyd (Lawrence, KS) and LaToshia Renee Floyd (Lewisville, TX) , her son Antonio Eugene Floyd (Lansing, KS); sisters, Wynona Lee Floyd (Lawrence, KS), Teri Kristine Dew(Topeka, KS), and Toni Shirita Floyd (Lawrence, KS) as well her granddaughters, Marcya’ Floyd, Monica Thibeaux, Ma’Kiah Floyd, Ja’Miah Hicks, and Rayven Floyd, a niece Sharon Dew, nephews, Sherrod Floyd, Brandon Jackson (Rosemary) Darrick Dew, Terryl Riley Jr, and Anthony Riley, Lonnie Floyd Jr, and a host of other family members and friends.
