Celebration of Life
Dan Eagles Jr. was born on January 20, 1938 in Tucker, Arkansas to his mother and father, Lucille and Dan Eagles Sr. He spent his childhood in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Rosenwald High in Tucker, Arkansas.
Dan accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 1998 at Truelight Ministries Baptist Church in Topeka, KS. As a faithful member he served honorably on the Deacon Board until his illness.
He enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was a huge fan of his Philadelphia Eagles as well as KU Jayhawks basketball. Hanging out with his buddies was something that he always looked forward to.
Mr. Eagles gained Heavenly wings on January 20, 2018, passing in Topeka, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Eagles Sr., mother Lucille Eagles, brother Henry Eagles.
Left to mourn his homegoing is his wife, Kathy Holland Eagles (Topeka, KS); son, Danny Eagles III (Topeka, KS); daughters, Danielle (Preston) Eagles (Topeka, KS), Stacy (Jerry) Henshall (Norman, OK); brothers, Benny Eagles, Johnny Eagles, Robert Eagles, Morris Eagles (all of Little Rock, AR); sisters, Stella Dotson (Little Rock, AR), Louise (Calvin) Bealer (Little Rock, AR), Gladys (James) Holmes (Jacksonville, AR) and 6 grandboys, Matthew Henshall, Bryce Henshall, James Shepard III, Adriel Carter, Preston Carter Jr., Princeton Carter and a host of other family and friends.
