The father answered, "Son, if you were in a meadow, which flowers would you pick? The worst ones or the best?"

Condolence: I am so very, very sorry about your loss of Kalen. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I know his dad Tony Kirk very well. A man of character, integrity, and a complete commitment to always providing for his family, I just know that these great qualities passed on to Kalen. After all I knew "Baby Tony" when he and Travis were so very small with my daughter Belinda. All my love to a wonderful family. We can never understand why God chooses some of the best angels to take early, but we know it is in his plan. As I am writing this, I am thinking of a THS football game that I returned to twirl in for halftime. It was pouring rain, and there was Tony Kirk, a dedicated police officer, a leader in our community, former Interim Chief of Police off-duty just enjoying the game.
