Etta Fay Kindle, 64, of Topeka, KS, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 22, 2018. She was born on October 16, 1954, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Pamela Berry and James Kindle. Etta spent her early childhood years in Arkansas and later moved to California where she attended middle school and graduated from John Muir High School in Pasadena, California.

As an adult, Etta traveled back to Arkansas where she had her first two children, (Rodney and La'Tonya). Etta returned to California in the 1980's and later had two more children, (Marcus and Monica). Etta spent the majority of her time, in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas of California. Etta loved the Lord and professed her faith in Christ to all she came in contact with, often encouraging others to attend church. Etta was a phenomenal listener and a genuine, loving person.

Etta belonged to Friendly Will Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA and later joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist church upon moving to San Bernardino, California. In the early 2000's, Etta moved to Emporia, KS to be with her daughter, La'Tonya. There she visited several churches and joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Etta devoted her life to being a nurturing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Etta mostly stayed to herself but enjoyed talking with and visiting her family and friends. Etta also enjoyed small gatherings, cooking, and shopping but above all of those things; she enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren.
