Yolanda Mayweather-Mitchell was born on August 6th 1966 to Margaret-Jean Kearney and William Harris in Memphis TN. Yolanda accepted Christ at a early age and was a member of the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church of Topeka, Ks.

On June 9, 1989 she was united in marriage to the love of her live, Dale Mitchell Sr. Of this union three children were born.

Yolanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to music and relaxing in her favorite chair. She could light up a whole room with her smile and was always willing to help those in need.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her devoted husband Dale Mitchell Sr. and grandmother Margaret Mayweather.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Sharaina,Sharina and Dale Jr. all of (Topeka, KS); 9 grandchildren, Aniah, Dezmond, Matthew Jr., Treonte, Jalonda, Dalana, Jatavious, Jamuari and Zayvion; parents, Margaret Jean Kearney and William Harris (Memphis TN); sisters, Teresa Kearney Neely and Jackie Kearney both of (Memphis TN); sister-in-laws, Tomica Mitchell, Toi Mitchell both of (Detroit, MI); 42 other siblings, her long time friend/sister Shimel Prince( Detroit MI) and a host of other family and friends.
