Earl Thomas  Watson Sr.
Earl Thomas Watson Sr, 48, passed away on January 12, 2018 at a local hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was born January 5, 1970 in Liberal, Kansas to Evan T. Watson III and Ruby Lee Eatmon.

He attended school in Liberal, Kansas, later moving to Topeka, Kansas where he finished his education, graduating from Highland Park High School where he also wrestled and played football.

Earl married Joy McDonald, to this union one son and two daughters were born. They later divorced.
He worked in several positions for the City of Topeka from 1996 to 2004 as a Parking Control Officer and for the Topeka Housing Authority. His most recent employment of five years was with Shawnee County Parks and Recreation.

Earl was a member of El Shaddai Ministries Community Church. In his younger years at Faith Temple he participated in the Sunshine Band, Youth Choir and a young boys the Royal Ambassadors, where he learned biblical principles.

He loved clowning and hanging out with his brothers. Fishing and working on his car was also things he enjoyed doing.

Earl was preceded in death by his biological mother Ruby Eatmon; maternal grandfathers, Robert Eatmon, Wardell Moore; maternal grandmother, Betty Louise Moore; paternal grandfather Evan T. Watson Jr.; paternal grandmother Nina Lois Watson.

Left to cherish his memory sons, Tramayne (DeJanique) Smith Watson (Topeka, KS), Earl Watson Jr (Lawrence, KS); daughters, Maliah Watson and Miah Watson both of (Topeka, KS); father, Evan T. Watson III; mother, Doria Watson; brothers, Evan T. Watson IV, Bryan D. Watson, Timothy S. (Ambroja) Watson, all of (Topeka, KS); sister Robin (Gerald) Thompson, (Plano, TX); grandchildren, Jahydis, Jayiah, Jahmyriah all of (Topeka, KS); grandmother, Lovola Eatmon (Liberal, KS). Special love to his Aunt Jesse Taylor who stood in the gap during this difficult time and long time and close friend, Leon Law. Along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and other family members.
