Obituary for Joe Louis Beaver
Joe Louis Beaver, 81 passed away Tuesday morning, December 26, 2017 at his home in Topeka, KS. He was born December 2, 1936 in Razor, TX to Andrew and Lucille Beaver. He attended Topeka Public Schools.
Joe was united in marriage to his bride Carol Jane Hodison on April 11, 1955. To this union three daughters were born.
His employment included Santa Fe Memorial Hospital, Topeka State Hospital, retiring after 20 years of employment from Stormont Vail Hospital.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ruth Patterson; brothers, Vernice Beaver, Vance Beaver, William Beaver; granddaughter, Marini McKnight.
Left to cherish his memory: his wife of 62 years, Carol Hodison Beaver (Topeka, KS); daughters, Jolydia Beaver (Topeka, KS),
Cherie Thompson (Topeka, KS), Dana (Raymond) Harold (Topeka, KS); sisters, Ruby (Chris) McChristian (Topeka, KS), Irene Nicholas (Sandston, VA); 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren
