Arlillian Murdock was born October 5,1924 in Pueblo, Colorado to the late Charles and Goldie Simmons. She transitioned from her earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior on November 29, 2017.
While living in Topeka she was employed at Supply Depot, Menningers Foundation, several nursing homes, and the State of Kansas.
Arlillian loved God and believed in serving him wholeheartedly. Prior to relocating to Warner Robins, Georgia in 2010, she was a long time member of the Apostolic Way Church in Topeka Kansas. She was known as the social butterfly and met no strangers. There were many times that we had to look for her, only to find her sitting and talking with someone. She used this gift to graceful volunteer in the community.
She loved to be surrounded by the people she loved as well as listening to good music. Arlillian was an outstanding wife, mother, famous cook and a loyal friend. She was an inspirational matriarch who loved to travel and had visited Jerusalem, Hawaii, Germany and too many other places to mention.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt F. Murdock Sr; sons, Charles Willis Gentry, Emmitt F. Murdock Jr. and Ricky Murdock.
Arlillian leaves behind many cherished and precious memories for her daughters, Clara L. Hoskins (Las Vegas, NV), Shirley J. (James) Hoyle (Rogersville, TN) and Ameesah A Suluki (La Veregne,TN); son, Aaron Murdock (Saitan, India), a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many other family members and devoted friends.
