Colwin Lynn Henderson III, was born on August 2, 1997 in Topeka, Kansas to Novel Jean Carter and Colwin Lynn Jr.

He attended Shawnee Heights High School and graduated in the class of 2015. He was a multi-sports athlete, participating in football and basketball. He then attended Kansas City Kansas Community College, majoring in Business Management.

Colwin had a smile that would brighten a gloomy day, and a laugh that was simply infectious. He was strong-willed and a very determined young man. As a child, he enjoyed attending summer camp and playing youth sports with his cousins. He also enjoyed and appreciated spending quality time with his siblings. Colwin became a father to his beautiful daughter, Rosalia Selene Henderson.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Carol Jean Ross.

Memories of his life will be forever cherished by his mother, Novel Jean Carter; his father, Colwin Lynn Henderson Jr.; his daughter, Rosalia Selene Henderson; his significant other, Destiny Jackson; his brothers ,Jordan, Kie'Rhe, Traezon; his sisters, Alize, Iman, Izadora, Journey, Lyric; a very important person and role model to him, his uncle Tony Barksdale; his grandparents, Colwin Lynn Henderson Sr., Calvin Carter, Marvena Barksdale and a host of relatives and friends.
