Luke Cleophas  Galloway
Luke Cleophas Galloway was born July 18, 1956 in Glen Allan, Mississippi. He was the 3rd of 8 children of Pastor Franklin D. and Josephine Clark Galloway.

Luke attended Lawrence public schools and graduated in 1975. He was employed at Kansas University and later moved to Wichita, worked in construction and did various odd jobs until his health began to fail.

Luke loved to fish, garden and care for house plants and would trade them from time to time with his sister Murtis. He was funny and would always have a laugh or two to share. Luke loved to talk about scripture and the goodness of Jesus.

Luke was preceded in death by his father, Pastor Franklin D. Galloway.

He will be remembered by his wife, Rose (Phillips) Galloway; mother, Josephine Clark Galloway; three brothers, Andrew (Earlean) Galloway, Wesley Galloway, Gregory (Maria) Galloway; four sisters, Murtis (Donald) Kinney, Frankie (Sheldon) McAfee, Joyce (Marvin) Reese, Kathy (Kenneth) Mitchell; two daughters, Destiny Galloway and LaTacha (Kireece) Grant; three sons, Luther (Malinda) Galloway, Marvin (Joanna) Hicks, Kenneth Phillips; his grandchildren, Ayaila, Carissa, Jesse, Brenden, Colby, Ayden, Jon, Joey and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
