Obituary for Aaron Leon Merriweather

Celebration of Life

On the early morning of September 2, 2017, Aaron was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born September 2, 1985 in Topeka, Kansas to Jesse Merriweather and Dawn Dixon.

Aaron attended Topeka 501 public schools. He received his G.E.D. and his barber’s license. He received Christ and was baptized at an early age; he was also a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church.

He loved cutting hair, rapping and loved to dress. Aaron enjoyed hanging out with family and most of all bonding with his children.

Aaron was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, James Cleveland Jackson, Rosie B. Merriweather; maternal grandparents, Geraldine Fulton-Pleasant, Newt Harris; uncle Tony Merriweather; aunt Tonya Merriweather; sisters, Dawnisha Lowery and Tourquoise Abercrombie.

He is survived by his father, Jesse (Tonya) Merriweather; mother Dawn (Earl) Dixon; daughter, Eri' Bella Merriweather (Dallas, TX); sons, Jabri Osei (Topeka, KS), Byren Brandon (Topeka, KS); sisters, LaQuisha Lowery (Topeka, KS), Trulora (Mike) Booker (Port Arthur, TX); a special sister, Katrece (Anthony) Johnson (Topeka, KS); uncles, Howard Merriweather (Minneapolis, MN), Larry Merriweather (Wichita, KS), Derrick (NaNa) (Minnepolis, MN); aunts: Julia Pleasant (Topeka, KS), Pam (David) Robinson (Las Vegas, NV), Felicia (Ray) Hackney (Topeka, KS), Tina Johnson (Topeka, KS), Marsheila "Cookie" Johnson (Topeka, KS) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
