The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alvin Christopher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I missed Mr. Christopher last week when I delivered Meals on Wheels. He was such a nice man with a sweet soul. One time, a lizard jumped onto my leg when I was headed up the steps with his meal. I jumped, and he laughed and laughed. And then brought it up a few times since then. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the Christopher family. Mr. Christopher has been my Meals on Wheels client for many years and we always enjoyed visiting when I saw him on Monday. He called me his "Monday MOW Girl" and we shared the same birthday. He was the most kind and thoughtful gentleman. My MOW route won't be the same without him.
