Beverlee A Kinmon, 78 of Topeka, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 26, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1939 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Eugene Roberts and Evelyn Stanley.

Beverlee graduated from Topeka High School. She resided in Denver, Colorado for many years prior to returning to Topeka. She was a proud member of True Light Baptist Church in Topeka and Zion Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado.

Beverlee married John Kinmon, Sr. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Bell on March 14, 2007 and her son, Duane Smith on January 8, 2015.

Survivors include her children, Karla Smith of Topeka, Kerri (George) Walton of Topeka Kansas, Jamie Williams of Denver, Colorado, Michael Smith, Sr of Topeka, Kansas and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She prided herself in being able to know all of her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s birthdays.
