Yolanda Evette Mozingo was born in San Marcus, Texas. Mr. Robert Eugene Mozingo and Mrs. Dorothy Turner Mozingo brought Yolanda into this world on June 9, 1956. Yolanda was the eldest of three children.
Yolanda graduated from Wyandotte High School and spent most of her adult career as a security guard.

Family and friends were Yolanda's passion and delight. She enjoyed listening to music, traveling, dancing and animals. She could hold a conversation with anyone and she hat the amazing ability to look for the bright side in all situations. Her relationship and faith in God meant everything to Yolanda.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Mozingo and a brother, Angelo Mozingo. Yolanda's transition occurred on May 6, 2017.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Dorothy L. Turner Mozingo (Topeka, Kansas); two sons, Dominic N. Hayes (Pekin, Illinois) and Marlon U. Hayes (Atlanta, Georgia); two brothers, Sean (Thea) Parks (Topeka, Kansas) and Andre' (LaCresia) Mozingo (Kansas City, Kansas); one sister, Stephanie Mozingo of (Belton, Missouri); twelve grandchildren Keiara Williams, Marlon Hayes, III, Malachi Mays, Mason Hayes, Ki'Jana Henderson, Elijah Hare, Daliyah Hayes, Destinee Hayes, Marquis Hayes, Dominae Hayes, Jayden Hills and Lauren Buchanan; one great grandchild, Kylin Henderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
