Obituary for Stephanie Elaine Wyse (Briley)

Stephanie Elaine Briley, better known as "Lane", was born to Vernon Forte and Ada Lee Briley-Wilson on March 07, 1962 in New Boston, Texas.

Lane attended Topeka Public Schools and was a lover of people. She accepted Christ at a very early age and found joy in the church.
Stephanie eventually married Keith Edward Robinson and beget a daughter, Adoria Anneisa Robinson. She later remarried Johnny E. Love, Jr. and and gave birth to their son, Johnny E. Love III. Stephanie became a member at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a lively participant in the choir, fulfilling her love of music. She shared an optimistic outlook on life and enjoyed every moment to the fullest. Her energy emanated through her personality, her ocean blue eyes and a smile that could make the sun shine on a rainy day.

Lane was an avid game player with a competitive edge. If you ever had the opportunity to challenge her, you would quickly find she was a celebrated "dominologist" and a "Monopoly Queen". Her larger than life persona and big boisterous laugh complimented her well. She was animated and when she told a story, you were thoroughly entertained. She'd have you hanging onto every word and begging for an encore.

Lane passed peacefully surrounded by devoted family and friends on the eve of May 22, 2017. Lane was preceded in death by her father Vernon Forte and stepfather, Robert Wilson.
