Obituary for Antoine DeWayne Hampton

Antoine DeWayne Hampton
Antoine Dewayne Hampton was born on January 27, 1987 in Topeka, Kansas to Gloria Ann Hampton.
Mr. Hampton grew up in Topeka, Kansas where he attended Topeka Public Schools. Growing up he loved sports and especially enjoyed playing basketball and football.
Antoine loved to eat and centered his career around food. Because of his love for food, he held numerous positions at various establishments in the food industry.
To his family, Antoine was affectionately known as “Tweety Bird”. He was always smiling and wasn’t afraid to act “super goofy” to make others smile as well. He would sing and dance just to make everyone around him laugh. Antoine loved to be surrounded by his family and friends.
Mr. Hampton totally adored his babies and they always made that smile of his even bigger. He stayed in constant contact with his children and spent as much time with them as he could despite the miles separating them. He was a good father.
Antoine was preceded in death by his grandfather, Allen Curry and his uncle, Larry “Buck" Curry.
Antoine leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Gloria Ann Hampton of Topeka; daughter, Aryasia Young of Texas; son, Royal Carter of Wichita, KS; sisters, Ashley (Joseph) Leesman of Topeka and Sheila (Aundrell) Foulks of Illinois; grandmother, Frankie Huggins of Topeka; grandfather, Ronald Lett of Topeka; great-grandmother, Letha Curry of Topeka; aunt, Anita Huggins of Topeka; uncle, Mark Huggins of Topeka; nephews, Jayden and Jomarion Leesman of Topeka; niece, Ayana Leesman of Topeka and a host of other aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
