DeVonn Jamal  Emerson
DeVonn Jamal Emerson, 23, of Arlington, Texas gained his heavenly wings on November 29, 2016. DeVonn was born on April 20, 1993 in Topeka, Kansas, to the parents of Darrian Jamal Emerson and Nichol Cheree Bradley.

He lived in Wichita, Kansas from November of 1995 to January of 2016. DeVonn attended Southeast High School in Wichita, Kansas where he graduated in 2011. In January 2016, he moved to Calabasas, California where he resided for 9 months before moving to Arlington, Texas. It was in Calabasas that he discovered his love of the ocean.

DeVonn worked for United Site Services in Dallas, Texas. He loved listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. DeVonn loved making people laugh and was always the life of the party, he brought joy into everyone's life he touched. He treated everyone with love and compassion and always kept it real.

DeVonn is survived by his parents, Darrian Jamal Emerson of Topeka, Kansas and Nichol Cheree Bradley of Arilington, Texas; his brothers Dommy Jamal Emerson, DeCorey Jamal Emerson, both of the home, Marquice Butcher of Atlanta, Georgia; his sisters DeAnna J. Emerson and Dorcylene J. Emerson; grandparents Ivan R. Bradley (Juanita) of Lenexa, Kansas and Wanda Emerson of Topeka, Kansas as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

DeVonn was preceded in death by his grandmother, Yolanda R. Gomez Robbins, and grandfather, Claude Emerson.
