Obituary for McAuthur Ingram Jr.

Mack Arthur Ingram, Jr. affectionately called "Mack" of Helena, Arkansas died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his home due to an extended illness. He was born August 18, 1944 in Refugee County, Mississippi to Mack Arthur Ingram, Sr. and Lillie Layton-Ingram who preceded him in death. Mack Arthur married Wanda Ingram in 1995 who also preceded him in death in 1998. Mack Arthur worked for the department of sanitation in Helena, Arkansas from 1968-1975. He moved to Topeka, Kansas in 1976 where he started working for Kansas Neurological Institute (KNI) until he retired in 2005. Mack Arthur loved working on cars and loved driving big cars (Cadillac and Lincolns). Two sisters, Dorothy Robinson (2005), Lettie Jewel Triggs (2011) and son Johnny Davis (2014) also precede him in death.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Ingram of Topeka, Kansas; five sisters, Freddie (George) Glover, Lena Strozier and Sharon Stano of Topeka, Kansas, Gloria (Carl) Martin of Las Vegas, Nevada and Linda (Gary) Nelson of Junction City, Kansas; eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him and will miss him.
