Obituary for Cynthia Pearl Easter (Fisher)

Cynthia Pearl Easter was born on November 5, 1956 in Inglewood, California, the daughter of William Jay Fisher and Juanita Mae Carter Fisher. The family relocated to Topeka when she was one-year-old.

Cynthia was a member of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.

She attended Topeka Public Schools and was a graduate of Highland Park High School. After high school she began her career working for Dillons. She worked for 41 years until medical reasons forced her to retire. Her last position with them was Manager of Meat Market.

On December 23, 1980 she met the love of her life, Ralph Louis Easter Sr. They were married the following Valentine’s Day on February 14, 1981. For them each Valentine’s Day was special for 35 years.

Cynthia was absolutely devoted to her family and they to her. She made a remarkable impact on all family members and co-workers for she was known for her communications. Many times she was the “family therapist” and would remind all “to be the bigger person.” Keeping her family happy was her greatest joy. Cynthia loved to cook, take care of her lawn, she loved to travel and her favorite color was burgundy.

Cynthia transitioned from earth to heaven on Friday, July 29, 2016 at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, William J. Fisher and brother, Raymond “Pete” Fisher. She leaves to celebrate her life, her husband, Ralph Easter Sr., three sons, Ralph Easter Jr. (Sianetha) and Roger Easter, Sr. (Ann Lewis) both of Topeka, Kansas and Rick L.
