The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Fisher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To the Fisher Family:
What an awesome blessing it was to have known
a for real, true soldier, man of God. Not only did he talk the talk, but he walked the walk. He literally lived out the principles of God's word in his daily life. We will be forever grateful to Joe and Marie--how he ministered to us during my mother's illness and ultimate death (Annie Ruth Owens). He sang a song at her funeral that assured us that even there in our sadness, God's power and presence would enable us to carry on. Who knew that on March 26 when we visited with Joe and Marie it would the last time. What a lasting legacy Joe has left for his family and others--the only thing that truly matters in this world--be of service to God.
Joe made the name of God and Jesus Christ famous among men. God is glorified and pleased.

Condolence: Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

Rev. Fisher was the portrait of a man truly after the heart of God. I always admired is faithfulness to his family, church, community and most importantly his Lord. He will be missed, but only for a short while as we shall meet again in heaven. It was truly a blessing to know him on this earth because he was a blessing to anyone he came into contact with. He was more than just a hearer/preacher of the Word....He was a doer. Rev. Fisher was the real deal, no doubt.

Thank you to the Fisher family for sharing your husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and so on with the world. He truly showed the love of God by the way he served those around him. I hope you all find comfort knowing that he is with the Lord and I pray for your healing while you are apart from him at this time. God Bless

Condolence: To the Fisher family, please accept our condolences from everyone of Sweeten Your Marriage Inc. for the loss of your loved one. Our family was deeply saddened today when we heard of your loss, a great man of God, loving father, husband and a Pastor to many.

We hope that in some small measure these words bring you some comfort at this sad time. Matthew 5:4 reminds us of these words “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

May you find comfort and strength from the wonderful family you and he have together. We know their love will get you through this sad time.

May God bless you and your family during this time and always.

Sincerely,

Condolence: To the Fisher Family:
My heart is sadden because Mount Carmel has lost one of the cornerstones of our church and community. I grew up with Rev. Fisher and he was like a big brother to me. Please know that Rev. Fisher had a heart of gold and he saw the good in everyone. He was truly a "Fisher of Men" and devoted his life to ensuring that all persons that he came in contact with were saved and baptized. Although we will certainly miss his earthly presence, I know that heaven has gained a new angel. Please find comfort and peace in knowing that precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

Condolence: To Sister Rose Marie Fisher and Family:
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way (Psalm 37:23). Reverend Joseph Fisher, Sr. was truly a man of God and he lived his life with reverence to God. He loved God and he loved people and would do anything to help anyone in need. Reverend Fisher’s desire was that all people accept Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior. Reverend Joe, as I fondly called him, was evangelizing and witnessing up until the day God called him home to receive his heavenly reward. Reverend Joe left a legacy for us to follow. I was blessed by his life and ministry and I will miss him dearly. “To God be the glory”

Condolence: To the family of Rev Joe Fisher aka my church family, my prayers go out to you all. It was sad to hear that Mr Fisher has went on to be with the lord, my mind went back to when he asked me to speak on a bible verse and for so long I had always said no thanks, but this time I said sure. That speech was just as hard as hearing of his passing. Mr Fisher was a wonderful man and he will truly be missed by all that knew him. I wish I could be there in person, but know I am there in spirit. Love you all.
