Jerry Kyles, Sr., 60, entered into rest on November 24, 2015 in the comforts of his home. He was born December 20, 1954 in Watson, Arkansas to William Lee, Sr. and Jennie (Burnett) Kyles.
He was formerly employed by Washburn University and was disabled at the time of his death.
It is with pleasure that we share that Jerry professed the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior prior to his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lee, Sr. and Jennie Kyles, sister; Rosetta Parmeley, brother; William Kyles, Jr., and step-son DeMarqus Claiborne.
He is survived by his wife: Gwen Kyles of Topeka, KS. son; Jerry Kyles, III and step-daughter, Phelica Glass (Porscha) All of Topeka, KS., his sisters; Clyda Grubbs (Elvis) of Topeka, KS., Mary Lindsay of Colorado Springs, CO., Gloria Williams (George) of Detroit, MI., Doris Shinn of Burlin, TX., Mary Ann Perez (Richard) of Colorado Springs, CO. and Betty Kyles of Topeka, KS. 7 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing and sharing those things with his children and grandchildren. He was very talented when it came to auto mechanics, plumbing, floor restoration, and all things repair. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
