Obituary for Patricia Louise Richardson (Woods)

Patricia Louise Woods Richardson, 67, was born in Denver, Colorado on October 23, 1947 to Everett Albritton and Louise G. Jefferson. She was the third of nine siblings.
Patricia married Charles Richardson. To this union one child was born, James Robert Richardson.
She was educated in the Topeka Public School system and graduated from Topeka High School. Patricia loved to cook and worked for several businesses in Topeka. Her last employment was with Presbyterian Manor.
Patricia accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a dedicated Christian who was faithful to God and her church family. She was active in various church ministries. She was a part of the Sunbeam Department and a member of the Usher ministry. She was active in the Topeka community and did the Lord's work wherever she was.
She enjoyed cooking, Peanut M&M's, perfumes, being a foster grandparent, crocheting, gardening, traveling, puzzles, word searches, crossword, and fishing. She had lots of charisma and was outspoken but loved everyone.
Mrs. Patricia Louise Richardson passed away on August 11, 2015 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother, Ronald G. Gordon and one sister, Thelma A. Drayton.
Mrs. Richardson's life and memories are survived, cherished and loved by her children: Leesa A. Woods Payne (Johnny) of Georgia, Michael A. Woods (Janice) of Georgia and James R. Richardson (Melissa) of Topeka; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Durrell A. Johnson of Topeka, Robert P. Woods (Joannie) of Connecticut, James Woods "Chinetha" of Georgia, Barbara A. Wells of Arkansas, Ricky J. Woods (Denise) and Debra E. Wilson both of Topeka and a host of other relatives and friends.
